On February 13, Multiplan received three important awards at the Brazilian Forum of Shopping Centers, recognizing the important work the company conducts to ensure its malls reach the highest quality standards and offer the best services in the country.
BarraShoppingSul won in the "Architecture and Design" category; MorumbiShopping was selected for "Excellence in Tenant Mix"; and the "Red Pencil Liquidation" was chosen a "Digital Highlight" for its innovation in communication with customers through Facebook during the year.
The opening of the Forum, officiate by São Paulo Governor Geraldo Alkmim, dealt with important issues for the shopping center industry, such as "popular movements in the shopping malls: causes and consequences," "The malls in a scenario of globalization" and "Challenges and opportunities generated by the digital consumer, a discussion in which Multiplan’s marketing manager, Rodrigo Perez, participated as a panelist.
The Forum is organized by LIDE (Group of Business Leaders), chaired by João Dória Jr., and has the support of Cope Trade, led by Marcos Gouvêa de Souza, CEO of GS&MD. The event attracted over 400 professionals and representatives of the shopping center industry and also awarded sector companies BR Malls, Iguatemi and Aliansce, among others, in ten categories.
