Delivery Center Webinar Shows Online Selling Possibilities with Fast Delivery

In a webinar that took place on April 16, Delivery Center – a startup of which Multiplan is a partner – shared best practices for online sales with deliveries within 24 hours. The largest integration platform between delivery and shopping mall networks has allied itself with administrators such as Multiplan for the same purpose: enabling the integration of physical and digital, reinforcing their importance and adding to shopping mall stores a complementary performance as e-commerce delivery centers, either through its own channels or marketplaces, including our Multi superapp.  

The experiences and sales differentials with the Delivery Center were presented during the event, demonstrating the process the step-by-step from the placing of the order through to delivery to the consumer. To advertise their offers, shopkeepers send their product catalogue for registration on the platform. Upon receiving an order, the store staff prints a label and prepares the product. The Delivery Center shopper collects the order at the store and takes it to a distribution center, where the delivery person scans the labels and delivers them. Partner restaurant orders are delivered within one hour and merchandise category orders - non-food - are delivered within 24 hours.

Delivery Center is present in three states and in five Multiplan malls: BarraShopping, in Rio de Janeiro; MorumbiShoppingShoppingVilaOlímpia and ShoppingAnáliaFranco, in São Paulo; and BarraShoppingSul, in Porto Alegre. 

Multiplan relies on Delivery Center to optimize the integration of the logistics operation of the Multi superapp, the first software application in the market to merge several services for mall users and a marketplace in which customers can place orders and receive their purchases at home. The Company's partnership with the startup offers logistical efficiency in deliveries, visibility of products to more customers, convenience to consumers and profitability with the sale of products already in stock.  

During this moment of social isolation, the Multi superapp and the DeliveryCenter are reducing distances and generating opportunities for shopkeepers to turn over store inventories even if closed to the public, boost their sales through deliveries, and satisfy their customers. Deliveries are subject to restrictions by local authorities.
