The month of July has arrived and, with it, long-dreamed-of vacations! To make the most of the period, Multiplan's shopping centers have prepared a special program filled with activities and attractions for the entire family. More details, such as opening hours and prices of paid attractions, can be found on each mall’s websites.
In Rio de Janeiro (RJ), BarraShopping will host from July 28 the world premiere of the largest immersive experience of Van Gogh's work, VAN GOGH LIVE - 8K. There will be more than 200 works projected in 8K resolution technology never before seen in exhibitions of its kind. Tickets are available at vangoghlive.com.br and at "VAN GOGH for kids," an exclusive space for kids with lots of fun and special activities.
At the NewYorkCityCenter (RJ), the attraction at the PALCO MOOD NEW YORK on July 26 at 7 p.m. is Luccas Carlos, an artist known for his romantic refrains and R&B melodies. The event takes place every Tuesday until October, with presentations of various talents and a lot of good music.
At VillageMall (RJ), every Saturday in July, at 5 p.m., musicians Luiz Bertoni and Pedro Augusto perform for free with the Mini System on the mall's deck, with a repertoire of jazz standards, fusion, international and Brazilian popular music, world music and electronic music with sophisticated arrangements. To complete the program, from August 4-28, Teatro Multiplan will host the interactive show Canine Patrol, The Musical! "Corrida de Resgate," a Broadway-style production that transports families to the cartoon environment and encourages the audience to get involved, calling on the audience to participate, dance the 'Pup Pup Boogie' and help the puppies rescue Mayor Goodway and win the race!
Those who pass by ParkJacarepaguá (RJ), on July 31, will be able to visit the Park Lord's VW, the largest gathering of antique cars in Rio, to the sound of the rock band Black Monkeys. The event starts at 9 a.m. and is free of charge, with a donation of 1kg of rice, beans or pasta. In addition, until July 17, clients can have fun and take care of their health at the Arena Sesc RJ+Sports, a free event with sports circuits, skateboarding tracks and volleyball, footvolleyball, sand soccer, 3x3 basketball and futmesa courts open to the population. Enrollment for classes is made through the Multi superapp.
The Sesc Arena is also available until July 17 at ParkShoppingCampoGrande (RJ), where customers can enjoy sport initiation and physical conditioning classes, such as gymnastics, functional circuit, and stretching. Besides that, to cheer up the kids, until August 28 the mall brings the thematic event, Fun City da Hello Kitty & Amigos, boasting Sanrio characters. The attraction has a giant inflatable jump, with obstacles and circuits, besides a playful workshop space, in which children can color the most famous characters from Japan. The totems scattered around the site also have the "Hello Kitty Activity Almanac," an app with three different types of activities that both amuse and develop the little ones' skills. In São Paulo (SP), MorumbiShopping offers the LEGO® CITY event, which occupies the mall's Atrium until July 31. The attraction is free and has thematic stations divided by age group, and the presence of monitors to help assemble each toy. In the LEGO® Park Double Space, the fun is guaranteed with a lake filled with LEGO®Double pieces and a beautiful picnic table. In the LEGO® Police Station Space, in a police-themed setting, a plethora of LEGO® System pieces will be available to build anything you want. In the LEGO® Car Race Space, you can build your own car and then take it to the test track to see which one is the fastest. In the LEGO® Friends Cafeteria Space, the participants will be able to build countless objects on two tables filled with LEGO® Friends pieces, in a scenario inspired by the Central Perk cafeteria from the series Friends. At MorumbiShopping (SP), the July vacations promise a lot of fun for children. Until the 31st, the Events Square hosts the free Art Under Water attraction, where drawings of a little fish are distributed and, after being colored with crayons and colored pencils, are digitalized and transmitted in a led panel with images of the seabed, becoming a real interactive digital ocean. In addition, toys such as an inflatable whale-shaped slide, coloring workshops, a cat's bed, puzzles, a over 80m² ball pool, among other activities, will be available to guarantee enjoyment for everyone. ShoppingVilaOlímpia (SP) offers through July 17 a free and never previously seen exhibition in the São Paulo capital: Gigantes das Águas. Spread throughout the corridors of the mall, children can dive into a fascinating universe, having as company replicas of great aquatic mammals with QRCodes that transport visitors to a world of information and curiosities about the animals. In addition, visitors can also have fun in themed activities such as the carousel, children's train, and the virtual reality mini cinema. Tickets can be purchased at the ticket office installed next to the attractions.
RibeirãoShopping, in Ribeirão Preto (SP), is packed with culture and fun for the whole family during this July vacation. Until the 25th, the mall is presenting a free exhibition, Ligados pela História (Connected by History). The exhibit reveals the history of 34 municipalities included in the metropolitan area of Ribeirão Preto, showing their traditions, way of life and curiosities. Until July 31, and with free admission, it is possible to visit the Elvis Forever exhibition, one of the biggest traveling exhibitions containing articles related to the singer Elvis Presley in Latin America, which offers details about the career of the king of rock with 2,500 articles and classic items. Also, until the end of July, the Circus of Dreams brings the show "Alakazan - The Magic Factory," a spectacle featuring circus performances. Tickets can be purchased through the Multi app. Finally, until August 28, fun is guaranteed at Jump Around, an inflatable castle with several obstacle courses, climbing structures, slides and jumps.
ShoppingSantaÚrsula, also in Ribeirão Preto (SP), brings "Art Vinil by Disco Riscado," a free exhibition of vinyl art by radio broadcaster André Luiz Faria de Souza. He sculpts drawings with the records and reuses the leftover pieces to produce lamps, pictures and notebooks, among other items. Containing 35 works, the show pays tribute to great names in art and to the city of Rio de Janeiro. The mall also is showing the "Iris" exhibition, with paintings and sculptures from numerous artists from various regions of the country.
ParkShoppingSãoCaetano, in São Caetano do Sul (SP), is offering, through July 31 the Monsters Live Here, with a Ferris wheel, cat bed, jump, tunnel in the monster's mouth, slide, sensory tunnel, mini-park with climbing-ramp, spring swing, mini slide and a scenery with the "monsters" for pictures. In Belo Horizonte (MG), BH Shopping brings, until August 15, the Mônica Toy, a circuit with a jump, slide, puzzle, giant soap bubble, seesaw, memory game, coloring and tattoo workshop and games, among other thematic activities. The free exhibition Happy Pop’s by The Sweet Art Museum, a pocket version of the show at the World's Sweetest Museum that features a marshmallow pool, a bear room, a unicorn painting, and more, runs until July 31. DiamondMall (BH) brings the Ice Cream Park, a free attraction that mixes up a series of activities such as ice cream roller coasters, slide and shell tunnel, ball pool, ice cream spinner and spinning cup. In addition to the toys, the event is highly “Instagrammable,” with colorful backdrops for taking amazing photos.
During the month of July, Pátio Savassi (BH) will host eleven shows by Cyntilante Produções where it will be possible to be enchanted by the classics of children's literature: “Os Saltimbancos,” “Cinderela,” “Sleeping Beauty,” “Snow White,” “Aladin,” “Rainha da Neve,” “Little Toy Soldier,” “Rapunzel,” “Peter Pan”, “Beauty and the Beast” and “The Little Mermaid.”
In Porto Alegre (RS), at BarraShoppingSul, Barra Music Kids has a special vacation program at BarraCadabra. With a large outdoor space, the place offers toys and different ludic and sensory circuits. Besides the free exhibit, other attractions such as a virtual reality mini movie theater, the Dino Trucks and Dino Riders, the children's carousel, and a souvenir kiosk complete the mall's Jurassic proposal for the vacations. In the field of arts, the Immersive Beyond Van Gogh exhibition arrives at the mall on August 4, after impressing and delighting the public in several countries around the world and being seen by more than 10 million people. An extraordinary journey that mixes light, art, color, music, and shapes, projected on the floor and walls, giving the visitor the feeling of being inside the painter's works.
