Multi, Multiplan's "superapp," has just launched Live Center, the first live transmission e-commerce center in the country. Created in partnership with Delivery Center, Live Center will broadcast two live sales per day in the wines, makeup, apparel, accessories and electronics categories. For the project's pilot transmission, products were selected from the almost 600 stores in Rio Grande do Sul state's BarraShoppingSul, in Porto Alegre, and ParkShopping Canoas, in Canoas (RS). Deliveries are available throughout Brazil within two business days and customers in the projects' regions receive their purchases on the same day.
The Live Center lets clients access live streams via a link sent in Multi's superchat on WhatsApp (11-4005-1533) or directly through the website, without the need to download a new app on a mobile device. The links to the broadcasts also are disseminated by influencers invited to manage the live transmissions, expanding their outreach. In each broadcast, consumers select their products and close their purchases in a single place.
The launch of Live Center and its integration with Multi on WhatsApp are new steps for Multiplan's digital transformation focused on the omnichannel model. “The Live Center marks another stage in the expansion of Multi, in partnership with Delivery Center, a collaboration that also helped us launch Multi's superchat on WhatsApp. We want to be anywhere our clients are to offer them convenience and more opportunities for our retailers," says Daniel Peres Chor, Multiplan's Marketing, Innovation & Digital Business Co-Head (MIND) and member of the Delivery Center's Innovation Board.
In the coming days, Rio Grande do Sul journalist Mauren Motta, administrator of the online community Conexões RS, which connects up with 120,000 stores and businessmen from the state, will run one of Live Center's daily transmissions. Information about the trasmissions will be announced in the profiles of influencers.
