The tenants of Multiplan's 20th shopping mall, ParkJacarepaguá, which will open in Rio de Janeiro, already have received the keys to their stores so that they can initiate finishing touches with a view to opening in November. The traditional key deliveries were carried out in phases throughout the second week of July.
Divided into groups, the project's future tenants had the opportunity to visit the construction site, where the work is now well advanced. Operations of Magazine Luiza, Renner, Smart Fit, C&A, Riachuelo, Prezunic and, Outback, among others, have already been confirmed.
The project will feature all of the convenience and functionality characteristics of Multiplan's multi-use developments. There will be more than 240 stores, a supermarket, a multipurpose event center, the largest permanent ice-skating rink in Rio de Janeiro, stadium movie theaters, a Hotzone amusement park, different dining options, a park and an outdoor deck – with entertainment options for the whole family.
The shopping center will also be inaugurated as the Company's most sustainable mall project, with a number of initiatives implemented since its inception. These include one of the largest urban solar panel parks in Latin America, with photovoltaic cells installed across its roof, and its own sewage treatment plant, for repurposing water.
