The company is launching an initiative to promote donations of cold-weather apparel this winter.
With the arrival of winter and plunging temperatures, Multiplan's shopping malls are joining the Coat Collection Campaigns and becoming points for donations to help people in social vulnerability stay warm this winter. Mall-goers can donate various items such as coats, blankets, shoes and socks that will help fight the cold weather.
This action is part of "Multiply the Good," a social responsibility hub that promotes numerous initiatives adopted by the Company, involving our customers, staff, and the broader society where Multiplan is present. The BarraShopping/NewYorkCityCentercomplex, ParkJacarepaguá and ParkShoppingCampoGrande, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), promote the Hot Winter campaign, in which it is possible to contribute by donating coats, blankets and cold-weather clothes in good condition. All donations will be distributed to the Viva Rio NGO's partner institutions.
BH Shopping, Pátio Savassi and DiamondMall, in Belo Horizonte (MG), are collection points of the "Human Warmth" campaign carried out by the Autonomous Social Service (Servas). The goal is to collect more than 20,000 items to be donated to institutions in Minas Gerais that serve the elderly, homeless people, and socially at-risk children and teenagers.
RibeirãoShopping and ShoppingSantaÚrsula are once again participating in the Ribeirão Preto Warm Clothing Campaign, which runs from April 28 to August 4. The two projects serve as donation collection points, with boxes for the warm clothes, blankets, shoes and other items needed to keep those in need warm this winter.
JundiaíShopping is another donation collection point, as part of the Winter Campaign promoted by the Social Solidarity Fund of Jundiaí. The mall will also contribute blankets to the campaign. ShoppingVilaOlímpia will receive donations from June 1-18 that will be directed to the São Paulo Social Fund. ParkShoppingSãoCaetano will collect items that will be donated to the Social Solidarity Fund of São Caetano do Sul. ParkShopping, in Brasilia, will collect items that will be donated to the Casa do Vovô organization.
ParkShopping Canoas is promoting the "The Good Park - Winter Warmth is in the air" event in partnership with the "Transform RS" institution. For its part, BarraShoppingSul will donate the collected products to the Social Assistance and Citizenship Foundation (Fasc). Between June 1 and August 31, ParkShoppingBarigüi clients will be able to donate to help the Pequeno CotolengoNGO.
Warm clothing, blankets and similar donations are accepted at Shopping Anália Franco throughout the year. The BOMPAR, SAEA, LEMDA, and CASA BETINHO NGOs benefit from the items collected during the campaign on a monthly basis.
