The month of October is marked by important awareness actions regarding breast cancer prevention. In support of Pink October, a number of Multiplan's malls have prepared special activities.

The shopping malls ParkShoppingCampoGrande, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ); ParkShoppingSãoCaetano and ShoppingAnáliaFranco, in São Paulo (SP); JundiaíShopping, in Jundiaí (SP); RibeirãoShopping and ShoppingSantaÚrsula, in Ribeirão Preto (SP); DiammondMall and Pátio Savassi, in Belo Horizonte (BH); and ParkShopping, in Brasilia (DF), are lighting up their façades in the color pink. ParkShoppingBarigüi, in Curitiba (PR), has hung an inflatable pink lace shape, symbol of the campaign, on its façade.  Employees of BarraShopping, VillageMall, ParkShoppingSoCaetano, JundiaiShopping and DiamondMall will be wearing pink bow ties throughout the month of October.

ParkShoppingCampoGrande, in partnership with Marlon Lemos Tattoo, will offer free tattoos for aureole reconstruction in women who have had mastectomies, or tattoos to cover scars from a partial mastectomy, scheduled for October 9, 16, 23 and 30. Vacancies are limited, and scheduling must by telephone: (21) 3384-3800. A medical release is required for the procedure. The mall will also have a collection point for donations of scarves and hair accessories, which will be donated to women with breast cancer, and will present a show featuring women singers on October 20. ShoppingAnáliaFranco has added a collection point for handkerchiefs and has entered into a partnership with Instituto Viver and Studio W. During the month of October, clients who cut their hair in the donation room will receive a Redken All Soft treatment. Other highlights at the mall are the Grand Cru store, which will revert part of the sales of pink wines to the Laço Rosa Foundation, and Hering, with an exclusive collection for the campaign.

RibeirãoShopping promoted the "Pink Parade - The beauty and strength of women for the control of breast cancer" on October 8. The action, idealized by the REMA (Nucleus of Teaching, Research and Assistance in Rehabilitation of Mastectomized), of the School of Nursing of Ribeirão Preto – USP, aimed at encouraging women’s self-esteem and strength in the fight against breast cancer. The parade's looks and makes were offered by mall's own shopkeepers.

ShoppingSantaÚrsula, also in Ribeirão Preto, will offer a free lecture by SOGESP (Association of Obstetrics and Gynecology of the State of São Paulo) with the themes "Prevention" (by Dr. Paola Candido Rodrigues/FMRP-USP) and "Diagnosis and Treatment" (by Dr. Viviane Fernandes Schiavon/FMRP-USP). In the end, there will be time for the audience to clear up their doubts with the lecturers. The event is scheduled for October 16 in the Happy Age Space - ground floor.
