Actions from real situations enthuse Father Christmas
The moment when it is Santa Claus who receives a gift from the hands of a child and overflows with joy and excitement. This role reversal between one of Christmas' main characters and kids really happened during Multiplan's special actions for the date, whose campaign was launched on Monday, December 5 on social networks.
"This Christmas, don't forget someone who always remembers you" was the motto of the marketing campaign, created by the Minas Gerais-based Lápis Raro ad agency from real scenes, which demonstrate how much kids love "Father Christmas."
The 1' 48" video depicted Santa's daily work routine inside one of the group's shopping malls. On the day of the shoot, without his knowledge his granddaughter was invited to give him a present. At the same time, a children's choir was singing Silent Night. As of that moment, Father Christmas was overcome with emotion.
"There's always someone who doesn't forget people at Christmas," explained Rodrigo Perez, Multiplan marketing manager. "For the children, that someone is Santa Claus. For adults, it could be an aunt, a godfather, parents, grandparents. Someone who also should be affectionately remembered," he added.
