The Teatro Multiplan, located in VillageMall (RJ), is one of the Company's most important cultural initiatives and is resuming its show schedule with previously unseen presentations for local residents. Following the 'Golden Rules’ to prevent and combat the new coronavirus (Covid-19), the site seating capacity has been reduced to accommodate 50% fewer people and has been fully adapted to receive the public safely.
On November 7, the theater welcomes singer Luan. The show is part of the "Varanda do Luan” project, which relives important moments in the artist's history in music and features the release of new singles, in addition to showcasing special appearances by other artists.
At the end of the month (Nov. 21-22), Teatro Multiplan presents Bossa Nova in Concert – A Homage to Tom Jobim. Performance artists Hamilton de Holanda, Paula Morelenbaum, Jaques Morelenbaum and Wanda Sá take to the stage together for the first time for a show in honor of conductor Tom Jobim, one of Bossa Nova's leading lights. The musicians will revisit many hits of the genre that conquered the world in the early 1960s, and sometimes in pairs and sometimes solo, will present classics such as 'Basta de Saudade’, ‘Só Danço Samba’, ‘Água de Beber,’ ‘Discussão’ and ‘Garota de Ipanema.’ The band also presents Adriano Souza on piano, Guto Wirtti on acoustic bass and Marcio Bahia on drums.
In December, it's Lucy Alves' turn. The singer, actress and multi-instrumentalist debuts her ‘Este Mundo é Meu’ tour at Teatro Multiplan on December 12. In the wake of her latest release, "Chama," Lucy presents her new songs, her greatest hits, as well as some surprises.
