Donating blood is an act of love, compassion and empathy, where a simple attitude makes all the difference in the lives of those in need. With this in mind, every year a number of Multiplan’s shopping centers organize blood donation campaigns as part of the "Multiply the Good" program, the Company's hub for social initiatives.
Since 2016, the campaigns, held as part of "Multiply the Good," the Company's hub for social initiatives, have already collected over 17,000 blood bags, saving approximately 58,000 lives. In 2022 alone, 4,500 bags of blood were donated, enough to save an average of 18,000 lives.
The collection points are set up throughout the year, on specific dates, to encourage employees and visitors to the malls to donate, offering fixed locations that provide greater safety and convenience for everyone.

Pre-requirements to be a donor
- Be in good health.
- Between the ages of 16 and 69, provided the first donation was made before the age of 60 (children under 18, click to see the required documents and authorization form).
- Weigh at least 50kg.
- Be rested (have slept at least 6 hours in the last 24 hours).
- Be fed (avoid fatty foods in the 4 hours prior to the donation).
Important!
Those vaccinated with Coronavac must wait 48 hours before the collection. For the other Covid-19 vaccines, it is recommended to wait 7 days.
For those who tested positive for Covid-19, Hemorio asks that you wait 30 days before donating.
