Multiplan shopping centers adopt “Pink October” all over the country

In addition to the facade lighting, shopping centers will have different actions for the global awareness campaign to prevent breast cancer

Multiplan shopping centers also engaged in the Pink October campaign, which aims to draw the attention of people around the world for the prevention of breast cancer and the importance of early diagnosis.

Most popular symbol of adherence to the campaign, the facade will be lighted in pink throughout the month at DiamondMall and Pátio Savassi, in Belo Horizonte (MG); at ShoppingAnáliaFranco, in São Paulo; at ParkShoppingSãoCaetano, in São Caetano do Sul (SP); at JundiaíShopping, in Jundiaí (SP); at RibeirãoShopping, in Ribeirão Preto (SP); at ParkShopping, in Brasília (DF); and at VillageMall, in Rio de Janeiro.

Other places also opted for personalized actions. DiamondMall and VillageMall will have special exhibitions in honor of the cause. The first will exhibit, until October 20, the unprecedented show “Pérolas”, by the Pérolas de Minas group, formed by women who are or had been undergoing treatment for breast cancer. VillageMall will receive the exhibition “Carolina Herrera Pink”, in partnership with the brand and Fundação Laço Rosa, a website aimed at the promotion of early detection and fight against breast cancer.

ParkShoppingCampoGrande, in Rio de Janeiro, has partnered with salons Edson Freitas and Tesoura Mágica and, during the whole month of October, those who want to donate their hair to Fundação Laço Rosa can have their hair cut for free. The shopping center is alco collecting headscarves, which will be donated to the Foundation.

ShoppingSantaÚrsula, in Ribeirão Preto, will make a bazaar with the income from sales transferred to the Brazilian Association for the Fight against Childhood and Adult Cancer (Abraccia), in addition to distributing pink bows, the symbol of the campaign, to clients. At ShoppingVilaOlímpia, in São Paulo, and ParkShoppingSãoCaetano, staff and employees will wear brooches in regard to the campaign.
