Multiplan today launches a campaign that presents the safety protocol developed for the reopening of the 18 shopping centers managed by the Company, designed to preserve the health and well-being of its clients, employees and tenants. To present the new shopping mall routine and the care that will be taken, Multiplan produced a video recorded at ParkShopping Canoas in Rio Grande do Sul, its first shopping center to be reopened after the temporary closure caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

“In a time of uncertainty regarding health, we created this campaign to transmit a feeling of security to our clients. Toward this end, there's nothing better than showing the day-to-day of a mall that is already functioning in compliance with the protocols we developed. To this end, we decided to show the images of ParkShopping Canoas to all of Brazil. This way, clients in other cities can see that we are ready to reopen responsibly when the time comes. We will also show the standard of excellence that has been Multiplan's brand since its foundation 45 years ago,” explains Rodrigo Peres, Multiplan's Marketing and E-business Manager.

The campaign, created by the WT.AG agency and produced by Moglia Comunicação Empresarial, emphasizes that the mall is a controlled environment and that Multiplan is following safety measures to make a gradual and safe reopening, based on the best international practices that have been guiding the sector. As a result, ParkShopping Canoas installed more than 100 gel alcohol dispensing points around the complex, including vehicle and pedestrian accesses; reinforced the asepsis routine in all facilities; made the use of a protective mask mandatory; and reduced the use of parking space capacity by 50% as part of measures to control the flow of people. It also implemented the measurement of the body temperatures of employees and visitors at the mall's entrance, drawing markers on the ground so that people in lines respect the minimum distance, and increased the distance between tables in the food court. The mall also expanded communication focused on prevention in different points of the mall, in addition to increasing air renewal using ventilation equipment and open access doors.

The video will be available for viewing on Multiplan's TV and digital channels and those of the 18 shopping centers managed by the Company.

The safety protocol was developed with the assistance of an infectologist hired by Multiplan. The measures may undergo adjustments in each operation, according to any specific determinations of local authorities.
