Multiplan participates in Abrasce’s ExpoShopping 2022

From June 22-24, Multiplan participated in ExpoShopping 2022, the largest shopping center industry trade show, promoted by the Brazilian Shopping Center Association (Abrasce). This year, it was held simultaneously with the 17th International Congress of Shopping Centers. After a fully online edition in 2020, the event was again put on at Expo Center Norte in São Paulo (SP), receiving thousands of visitors in a 15,000 m² area occupied by more than 100 exhibitors.

Always investing in innovation, modernity and technology, Multiplan was present with a 100m², totally immersive and interactive booth that reflected its quintessence: to deliver beyond expectations. In the minimalist format of a 4.5-meter-high cube completely covered by a 55mm LED curtain, the stand caught visitors' attention, inspiring curiosity and interactivity. A Kinect sensor on the curtain captured the movements of those who approached it with the help of software customized especially for Multiplan.

Inside the cube, a 3mm LED panel displayed a video showing Multiplan throughout its more than 45 years in existence, offering a true immersion in the company's history for visitors to the stand. The content emphasized such key aspects as its pioneering spirit, technology and sustainability.

Outside, aiming to stimulate creativity and imagination to build and interact, visitors were entertained with two games that linked to Multiplan’s visionary essence. One of the amusements was Abstratus, which consisted in transforming a drawn word into a sculpture so that the other players could guess what it represented. The word cards were customized expressly for the company featuring objects and places found in shopping centers. Creativity was also stimulated through a magnetic game: its pieces made it possible to build a variety of structures, such as buildings, bridges, houses and abstract shapes.

"When we idealized the cube, we wanted to introduce and strengthen our message, that of an innovative and wide-ranging Company, one that dictates trends and creates new paradigms with each new mall. Our mission was to surprise, to offer remarkable experiences, such as the ones we provide in our malls. We bring pleasure and fun to the public by conveying services, culture, gastronomy, leisure and convenience in a single experience," said Rodrigo Peres, Multiplan's Marketing and Loyalty Director.

This year, the fair also presented an exclusive area dedicated to innovation and technology, the Shopping of the Future space, and a gastronomy zone, the Gourmet Village, joined to the traditional Abrasce University stand. Also, for the first time, the event was run in parallel to the ABF Franchising Expo.
