Multiplan's shopping centers carry out a series of social actions aimed at the communities in which they operate. This month, ShoppingAnáliaFranco, in São Paulo, JundiaíShopping, in Jundiaí, and ParkShoppingBarigüi, in Curitiba, in Curitiba, receive donations of food, hygiene items and clothes, focused on the coming winter cold weather.

ParkShoppingBarigüi, in partnership with the Curitiba city government’s Social Action Foundation (FAS), is collecting products that will be distributed to families in socially vulnerable situations and homeless people assisted by units of the municipality. The trunk for storage of items is located on the ground floor, near Gate B.

In addition, the mall is supporting the Juntos Somos + Arq charity bazaar. In this solidarity action, exclusive women's and men's fashion articles will be auctioned between June 19-28. The amount raised will be converted into basic hampers that will be distributed in vulnerable communities. All items were donated by leading brands and designers operating in Curitiba. It is an unprecedented action that brought together for the first time the city's major malls.

JundiaíShopping started the Winter Campaign and distributed through the mall boxes for people to deliver new or used clothes, shoes, blankets and blankets, which will be donated to local institutions. The action takes place in support of the Social Solidarity Fund (FUNSS) campaign, run annually by the Jundiaí City Hall. The project features structured logistics to ensure that donations are made by its clients and received by the Fund with all due care that the moment requires. Unlike previous years, there will be no storage of the items.

In the São Paulo capital, ShoppingAnáliaFranco in partnership with the sub-mayor's office in the region is raising donations for the most underprivileged regions of the Eastern Zone. The idea is to help those most in need during the quarantine in the city. Deliveries can be made via the shopping mall drive-thru without having to leave one's car. To help, simply bring non-perishable food, clean clothes, hygiene items and cleaning products.

Multiply the Good by beating COVID-19

Multiplan is running its “Multiply the Good by Beating COVID-19" campaign to raise online donations for institutions that support communities vulnerable to the disease. The campaign's website allows choosing one of the institutions offering assistance help (CUFA, Instituto Fazendo História or Pequeno Cotolengo) and set the value of the donation, starting at R$ 5. Payment can be through a credit card or a bank payment slip.

Multiply the Good is the hub of initiatives adopted by Multiplan designed to contribute to social development and quality of life in the communities where the Company's malls are located. The campaign is a partnership between Multiplan and the Pólen fintech startup, that will verify all donations. Pólen uses technology to link companies with social impact initiatives.
