Multiplan inaugurates the largest artificial lake in the country at Golden Lake

On November 5, Golden Lake, the first private neighborhood under construction in Porto Alegre, gained another attraction for its leisure area. The Main Lake, the largest artificial lake in the country. With a maximum depth of 1.5 meters, three million liters of water, and 1.5 million kilos of rocks (with mining certificates), the lake started to receive the first carp from a total of 2,100 fish that will complete the ecosystem.

The bathing lake can be used for swimming and paddle sports such as kayaking, canoeing, and stand-up paddle. In addition, the space also features a deck surrounding the entire waterbody and five white sand beaches for those who prefer to relax their bodies and minds.

Next to Main Lake is the Wellness Center. Another leisure space that houses an indoor heated pool with three 25-meter lanes, a large fitness center, bar, and nautical support center. To complement the site's health and wellness infrastructure, it offer a beauty center, a spa with a therapeutic pool, saunas, resting rooms and massage rooms.

Other attractions at Golden Lake

In May, the tennis courts at Golden Park were inaugurated, as well as the infrastructure of locker rooms and a collective bar and grill. According to the project, this sports area will also have several outdoor lounge areas, a bungalow for parties with a deck integrated to a large lawn, and a children's playground.

With a total area of 163,000 square meters, Golden Lake's construction represents only 10% of the total land area. The neighborhood has exuberant landscaping, with about 1.3 km of bike and walking paths. Another highlight will be the Beach Club, with a multi-sports court, grass soccer field, bar, barbecue grills, spaces with open fires, restaurant, party room, night club, and even a beach with a 50-meter-long Olympic size lane, which recreates a tropical setting.

So far, about 55% of the units in Lake Victoria, the first of seven condominiums in Golden Lake, have been sold. The first phase comprises four towers, with 94 units in 34,000 square meters, which represents R$ 530 million in GSV (General Sales Value), and delivery is scheduled for December 2024.
