Multiplan brand logo adopts mask to reinforce prevention against COVID-19

To bolster the importance of preventing coronavirus, Multiplan and its shopping centers have joined together to display a protective mask over their brand logos. The initiative, which has been adopted by brands from different sectors, aims to contribute to raising awareness about the importance of the continuous and correct use of masks against the transmission of COVID-19.

“We thought about joining this action and imprinting the mask on our logo with the worldwide protection symbol to reinforce the role of shopping malls as disseminators of good practices,” says Rodrigo Peres, Multiplan's Marketing and E-business Manager. "Our goal is to remind people of the importance of the mask to preserve the health of store staff, employees and customers, in addition to encouraging its use," he adds.

Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Multiplan has implemented a number of initiatives to help preserve the safety of everyone who visits its malls and society in general. In one of the actions, the company acquired 100,000 masks and 25,000 rapid COVID-19 tests. It also hired an infectious disease consulting firm to guide the most appropriate procedures for the reopening of its malls and has run a series of educational campaigns on its media channels.
