The 14,000m² area was inaugurated on July 29, offering a complete leisure experience to residents
Multiplan and ParkShoppingSãoCaetano delivered the Parque Espaço Cerâmica Tom Jobim (Tom Jobim Ceramic Space Park) to the city of São Caetano do Sul on its 141th anniversary. The opening ceremony was on July 29, Sunday at 11 a.m., in the presence of Mayor Jose Auricchio Junior.
The 14,000-m² park was landscaped by architect Martha Galvão. Located next to the ParkShoppingSãoCaetano, the park features an immense green area, toys for children, two spaces for pets (one for large animals and another for small ones), outdoor gym, covered area for events and picnics, maze, hiking trail, Wi-Fi, outlets with USB input for cellular charging and surround sound.
There is also a pergola (decorative structure for plant support), maze with vegetation, drainage floor and convenience area, as well as photovoltaic trees that provide power for the public lighting.
"Our goal has always been to please people so that they turn shopping centers into a meeting places for family and friends. Over time, we realized that the consumer wanted more open spaces, outdoors, to interact," explains José Isaac Peres, president of Multiplan.
The investment in the area next to ParkShoppingSãoCaetano was part of Multiplan's project to build malls that are more integrated with nature, allowing the client and the surrounding population to take advantage of the synergy between the climate inside of the mall and the open air environment. This is the third large green space that Multiplan has built and given to the population of cities in which it is present. The company revitalized the Parque das Artes in Ribeirão Preto, São Paulo, Getúlio Vargas Park in Canoas, Rio Grande do Sul, and Sol Peres Square, in the city of São Paulo.
The Association of Friends – Ceramic Space will be responsible for the cleaning and conservation of the area, allowing people to feel comfortable, practice exercises and have picnics. The Ceramic Space Park will be open daily, with free admission, from 6:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.
