Home to more than 12 million people, the city of São Paulo celebrated its 469th anniversary on January 25. Known as a great center of art, culture and leisure, the capital of São Paulo—the largest metropolis in Latin America—is also part of Multiplan's history.

Always present in major economic centers, the company manages three large shopping centers in the region: MorumbiShopping, ShoppingAnáliaFranco and ShoppingVilaOlímpia.

Focused on a complete experience for their clients, the spaces also contribute to tourism and local culture, becoming much more than shopping centers.

In the last few months, for example, the city hosted the great exhibition "Beyond Van Gogh" at MorumbiShopping, which enchanted the public with works and projections of the Dutch painter Vincent Van Gogh.

The same mall was also voted the most beloved mall of São Paulo citizens in the Shopping Centers category by Veja SP magazine in 2020.

Moreover, the company seeks to enhance the region around its projects. Through construction and revitalization work in squares and streets, and changes to traffic patterns, the results are reflected in the daily lives of those who live near the sites.

The search for sustainability and environmental care has also brought innovation to the malls. Aiming to facilitate mobility, it is now possible for consumers to charge their cars while they shop. The company has approximately 100 charging spaces available, distributed across its 20 self-managed malls located throughout the country.

The "Multiply the Good" campaigns are also part of the Paulistanos' routine, helping people and causes. Throughout the year, campaigns such as blood donations, toys, warm clothes, among others, are made with the aim of making a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Today, we want to congratulate this great city that welcomed us. Multiplan is honored to be part of this history and to contribute to the evolution of ¨Sampa¨ as the largest Brazilian metropolis.

Congratulations, São Paulo!
