Christmas is now present in Multiplan's shopping centers! Lights, colors and ornaments sparkle in this, the most eagerly awaited season of the year. In addition to participating in the Company's Christmas sale promotions, anyone visiting the malls can admire the incredible decorations that have been specially prepared for the period.
In a totally innovative format, BarraShopping and NewYorkCityCenter, in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), present the "Magic Showcases" project. Altogether, ten showcases feature concerts and performances by artists who promise to delight the public. In Lounge I of BarraShopping, visitors also can gaze upon a tall (12m) Christmas tree. At NewYorkCityCenter, a looming 10m giant bear welcomes visitors and is the perfect backdrop for photos.
VillageMall, also in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), has prepared a modern and authentic Christmas decor incorporating delicate elements especially developed for the date. Plush bears, snowmen, butterflies, Christmas balls, little toy soldiers and other objects reminiscent of the season move in sync and will delight visitors. Meanwhile, a 7m-tall tree decorated with the same elements welcomes visitors to the L1 level.
Even the joy of pets will imbue the Christmas decoration at ParkShoppingCampoGrande, also in Rio de Janeiro, replete with cute stuffed animals, such as dogs and cats. In a more contemplative mood, a house featuring a fun garden will be can be visited on the L1 level, facing the Riachuelo store. In the Restaurant Court, a 4m-tall Christmas Ball ornament illuminates the outdoor gardens, where guests can enter and take selfies within the structure itself.
The theme of ShoppingAnáliaFranco in São Paulo (SP) is "You Should Believe in Dreams” at Yuletide. The Events Square is replete with red and gold decorations and the traditional tree rising some 13m, and many animatronic bears. Also, in São Paulo, MorumbiShopping's Christmas will once again illuminate the city with a beautiful 35m tree covered in over 1 million micro-LED lights.
ShoppingVilaOlímpia in São Paulo offers consumers a visit to “Santa's House.” Customers will experience the magic of Christmas up close, with beautiful milieus prepared for the occasion that will feel like a personal visit with St. Nick. It will be possible to glimpse Santa Claus in everyday scenes in his home, in three different scenarios. Father Christmas' house is also the concept for the decoration of ParkShopping São Caetano, in São Caetano (SP). The scenery features animatronic animals and a fireplace, conveying the sensation of the North Pole weather conditions right into the mall.
At JundiaíShopping in Jundiaí (SP), the theme of the Yuletide decorations is "Enchanted Christmas," with some impressive elements: a giant 4m-tall reindeer, a bear over 3m tall, 2.5m-long hanging garlands and ten 2.70m-tall trees, among others.
In Ribeirão Preto (SP), ShoppingSantaÚrsula's "Merry Christmas" theme involves curtains made up of more than 10,000 micro-bulbs on the main façade, illuminated pieces with more than 400 meters of LED hose, 350 flashing lamp cords, 350 LED tubes that simulate falling snow, as well as Christmas trees and other Christmas ornaments in the Central Courtyard. RibeirãoShopping adorned Event Square A with a 20m-long antique steam locomotive, fully decked out for the Christmas season. Next to the train, the impression is that the water has frozen and formed a large ice-skating rink. The setting also includes a charming carousel with 15 galloping horses, all decorated and illuminated.
In Belo Horizonte (MG), Multiplan's malls have prepared thematic decorations that should not be missed. BH Shopping created “Christmas in Europe,” with every detail designed to bring Christmas magic to visitors, spotlighting the Eiffel Tower, classic English phone booths and a typical Italian emporium - with Santa Claus at the register. DiamondMall is entirely decorated with a special 10m Christmas tree decorated with bows, balls and teddy bears. Around the tree, six huge teddy bears fly in little golden airplanes. Pátio Savassi's decorative theme revolves around "Playing in the Village,” notable for its large, LED-decorated tree in the middle of a forest.
The charm of Christmas also has arrived at BarraShoppingSul in Porto Alegre (RS), with a fully “instagrammable” Christmas setting. With a red and gold Compass Rose theme, the center point of the mall features a Christmas trail replete with gifts, garlands, giant ornaments, a sleigh, reindeer and an animatronic Santa Claus. This path leads to the high point of the decoration: the Great Christmas Tree, 11m in height. Illuminated stars, lights and music complement the ambience.
ParkShopping Canoas in Canoas (RS) welcomes the public with a cheerful "Colorful Christmas" atmosphere of multicolored decorations, LED lamps throughout the mall and scenic reindeer and Santa Claus in the main hall. The decor is integrated with the artistic installations at the ParkGallery, such as the hundreds of parasols designed by artist Ane Schütz, resulting in a setting of many tinges.
ParkShoppingBarigüi in Curitiba (PR) prepared a new, snowy-themed Christmas setting and created interactive spaces for individual and family photos. The space is ideal for an Instagram or other social media photo: red and gold gift boxes morph into a special tree as the backdrop. The mall's central square was decorated with a large revolving Christmas tree over 10m high; nearby, a small train occupied by teddy bears runs in the woods in a "snowy" garden inside the shopping center.
ParkShopping in Brasília (DF) prepared its decoration around a 13m-tall tree decorated with more than 1,500 ornaments, including Swarovski's Elements line crystals and more than 18,000 micro-LED bulbs. As occurs every year, the presence of the Nativity Scene adds a sense of solemnity to the date and bolsters its import.
To make Christmas even more complete, Santa will make a visit to all of Multiplan's shopping centers. You can check to find out when and where Santa will present in each of our malls. Throughout the Christmas period, the safety measures adopted since the reopening of the malls will be maintained: the already intense cleaning routine will be bolstered, the air renewal process will be expanded, mask use by all is mandatory, the number of points with gel alcohol dispensers will be increased as will the limitations regarding maximum mall capacity, among other actions, pursuant to the determinations of the authorities of each city and state.
