The clients of BarraShoppingSul, located in Porto Alegre (RS), are gaining another option for leisure and well-being integrated with the mall. Baixo Barra, its gastronomic hub, has just inaugurated a second phase, featuring a 1,500 m² boulevard. Comprised of a square with a lawn and many tree species, the space will merge the gastronomy operations with an open-air area.
The circulation of vehicles in the mall was modified to prioritize the convenience space, which gained a square with 880 m² of lawn, surrounded by Magnolias, Jabuticabeiras, Pitangueiras, ornamental plants, fruit trees, flowers and spice plants. As a result, BarraShoppingSul now offers a spacious area in contact with nature, allowing clients to enjoy outdoor moments and the sunset on the Guaíba River.
The opening of the boulevard, two years after the inauguration of the first phase of Baixo Barra, is part of the strategy to enhance customer experiences, entertainment and gastronomy options. “We are looking to the future, and the long-term strategy will follow the market trend wherein clients seek locales for socializing and entertainment,” notes the superintendent of BarraShoppingSul, Eduardo Vitagliano.
