BarraShoppingSul, in Porto Alegre (RS), inaugurated a new children's play area. With a capacity for 500 children, BarraCadabra park occupies a space of 2,500m² and has four large areas (Sensorial Garden, Magic Valley, Event Area and Adventure Area). All were conceived to awaken sensations from experiences involving movement, balance, height, smells, textures and lights. In all, there are 39 toys offering fun on ropes, slides, trampolines, jumps, rotation devices and different circuits in a playful space for kids from a few months to 13 years of age.

The park is prepared to receive up to a 1,000 visitors and has a complete infrastructure, with a family bathroom, breastfeeding space, drinking fountains and food operations. "As part of Barra's proposal to offer exclusive experiences, we present an unprecedented concept, with innovative toys and spaces for the entire family," explains Eduardo Vitagliano, superintendent of BarraShoppingSul.

Boasting 100 square meters, the Events Area will host meetings, shows and other activities. It is equipped with a stage and bleachers that are fully integrated the other Barracadabra leisure areas of leisure.

The park also has eight contemplative decks, a little lake and a fountain. The landscaping project envisions native and exotic plants and was designed to offer a diversity of colors and aromas, consisting of flowers, trees and spices such as jasmine, camellia, rosemary, thyme, lavender, cherry, jabuticabeira, jacarandás and ipês. On the outside, a vertical garden will ornament the landscape for visitors arriving in the parking lot. Inside, a colorful artistically painted decor adds a special touch over 170 square meters. All environments are equipped with a sound system.

To complete the experience, BarraCadabra added special lighting effects that make the nights more beautiful. The park has 1,000 light bulbs, as well as scenic lighting for the toys and the landscaping. "It will be a complete space of experience and conviviality," emphasizes Vitagliano.

The Multiplan project, a pioneering project in Brazil, received an investment of R$ 15 million and was developed by Oikotie, specialized in architecture and design of children's leisure areas. BarraCadabra is a permanent attraction, with free entrance, open during the same hours as the mall: from Monday to Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., and on Sundays and holidays, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
