Institutionally, the company competes with its 40th anniversary campaign. Result will be published in Latin America, at ICSC RECon on April 10, in Mexico.
Rio de Janeiro, March 24, 2016 - Multiplan and three of its projects, MorumbiShopping, BarraShopping and VillageMall, are finalists in four categories of the Latin America Shopping Center Awards 2016, one of the main Latin American prizes in the industry. The winners will be announced at the ICSC RECon Latin America event, on April 10, in Cancun, Mexico.
Multiplan competes institutionally in the "Integrated Digital Campaigns" category with its 40th anniversary campaign. The video, produced to be aired on social media, takes a group of children a fantasy trip about what happens at the Mall when it is closed. Characters in the world of imagination such as a witch, a fairy and toy soldiers handle the job of cleaning and maintenance of the mall, immersed in a magic atmosphere.
In the "Digital Social Media" category, BarraShopping competes with the Dié category history. After a four-year-old child, Enzo, loses his favorite toy - a stuffed alligator called Dié - in the mall's corridors, the shopping center launched a campaign on social networks to find the boy's "little friend." Despite major efforts, Dié was not found. In the end, the Mall prepared a book of stories for Enzo, in which the alligator recounts why he went away and advised he would send a baby giraffe in its place, to accompany the boy.
VillageMall of Rio de Janeiro is competing in the "Sales Promotion and Events" category. The Rio mall participates with two projects: "VIP" VillageMall and "Open Air Events." The former is a relationship program where clients are invited to exclusive live experiences and privileges, such as a fashion consultant, previews of theater and cinema shows and win VIP Valet parking credits. In the "Open Air" project, the Center runs a number of entertainment and food events, such as the Full Moon Festival, the Food Truck Festival, a Food Festival, the Literary Garden, Village Art Beer and Tasting Burgers.
MorumbiShopping is disputing the "New Media" prize with its Christmas 2014 promotion project. The Mall launched a free app that, among other services, allows a customer to register its invoices directly on their smartphone to generate a coupon for participating in the Christmas promotion sweepstakes. In 2014, over 7,000 downloads of the application were registered in the Christmas period.
In 2015, Multiplan and BarraShopping won gold in the ABRASCE Prize competition with the 40th anniversary and Alligator Dié campaigns. For their part, MorumbiShopping and VillageMall won silver with the Christmas promotion and the VIP VillageMall.
