Multiplan's malls are the right destination for those looking for free, quality cultural programming. The month begins with Curitiba and Jundiaí receiving international exhibitions: Warriors: History's Greatest and Marine Giants.

In Curitiba, ParkShoppingBarigüi is featuring, through April 24, a collection that brings together curiosities and details of medieval knights, samurai and the great warriors of all time. The show will highlight more than 150 pieces in all, between originals and replicas such as swords, armor, shields, apparel, helmets, archaeological pieces, representations of famous battles and other objects that can be seen in the mall's Events Square. Part of the show, for example, are replicas of armor belonging to King Arthur, and used by Alexander the Great, and original pieces, such as a medieval 14th century sword, iron axes of the Vikings, an original Roman spearhead and unique samurai armor. The tour of the Warriors – History's Greatest exhibition ends in Curitiba, after having passed through seven other Multiplan malls.

At JundiaíShopping, the Marine Giants exhibit is on display until May 5. The show, which premiered in Brazil earlier this year, and already was put on in MorumbiShopping, arrives in Jundiaí with its prehistoric marine animals up to 10 meters in length. With the support of the Fundación de Historia Natural Félix de Azara, based in Argentina, the exhibition also features explanatory totems offering information about the species on display, the period to which they belong, their regions and habits.

In Rio de Janeiro, the BarraShopping complex is promoting the free New York City 'n Concert show on each Tuesday of the month of April. In April, the presentations are by the Cover Night group featuring singer Gabi D' Paula, former participant in The Voice Brasil program; guitarist and singer Tay Dantas and singer and multi-instrumentalist Pedro Sol, grandson of musician Billy Blanco, ending the month's series, always starting at 7:00 pm. VillageMall from April 21-24 will host the third edition of the Village Art Beer, an event featuring homecraft beers that brings art and music to the gardens of the mall. For its part, ParkShoppingCampoGrande will bring in food trucks for the Burger Tasting Festival scheduled for April 20-24. The event will have live music, DJs and a R$ 10 menu-tasting event.

In São Paulo, MorumbiShopping has scheduled the Bom Dia SP exhibit, with photos by Flaviz Guerra that focus on the city's architecture, light and images. The free attraction will be held in the atrium of the Mall between days April 8-24 to prove that even on the greyest days São Paulo can be colored and poetic. For children, Shopping Anália Franco promises lots of fun and games with the Gloob TV channel ALVINNN!!! and the Chipmunks event.

In Ribeirão Preto, ShoppingSanta Úrsula is hosting, until April 24, the Dragons exhibition, with 12 animatronic creatures around the central courtyard and the mall's main entrance. Also in the city, a little farm will be set up on RibeirãoShopping until April 17 offering free cooking workshops and little train for children. Cooking workshops are a daily option, with seven scheduled each day.

In Minas Gerais, the Diamond Mall highlights fashion in a photo exhibition, Mostra Weber Pádua, which celebrates 28 years of the artist's career. The show features the discovery of various towns and places, a watchful eye for detail and real-life characters, with the special touch of spontaneity. At the same time, one sees the produced and induced side of the fashion world. These and other images will be on display in the mall as of April 6.

Brasilia is in the spotlight during the International Brasilia Photo Show Festival (BPS) that ParkShopping is hosting April 7-May 5. The sky, the exuberant architecture of Oscar Niemeyer, the lines of Lúcio Costa and the everyday life of the capital, now completing 56 years, reveal themselves in the images on display in the collection. The series features winning entries that were published in the book of photography of the 2015/2016 Edition of the BPS, in addition to pictures by the founder of the festival, Edu Vergara.

According to Vergara, the 38 pictures in the April show, part of the BPS cycle, reveal the soul of the city and the idiosyncrasies of the capital. "They are records that humanize Brasilia, which is much more than the center of power. Brasília is a landmark. Everything here is intense," says this Brasilia resident who created and now coordinates the festival.
