Multiplan

On Monday, January 16 Multiplan received the Rio+Entrepreneur award, created by the Rio Lide (Group of Business Leaders) and the Rio Business Agency. Established to honor companies that promote initiatives to stimulate the development of the city, the award ceremony was held in the auditorium of the Copacabana Palace Hotel in Rio de Janeiro.
 
After accepting the honor in the Retail category, the president of the Multiplan group, José Isaac Peres, emphasized his love for the city and stated that the company’s projects are not just simple shopping centers, but rather are designed to help improve the quality of life of residents. "The mall is like a temple. In the temple you are looking for peace. At the mall, you seek pleasure. And you cannot have pleasure without peace or have peace without pleasure, " Peres said.
 
The award included a total of 11 categories. For education/training, the winner was the Cesgranrio Foundation. In the Financial category, Banco BTG Pactual took the honors. In Entertainment, Infoglobo was the victor. Other winners of the award included the Copacabana Palace Hotel (Hospitality/Hotels), Nissan (Industry), Municipal Olympic Company (Infrastructure), Casa Civil do Rio de Janeiro (Innovation), BG Brasil (Oil & Gas), National Brain Institute (Health), Souza Cruz (Sustainable Business) and Multiplan (Retail).
