Multiplan

Multiplan brings to its shopping center one more unprecedented international exhibition. It is the project "History of Shoes", developed especially to be displayed in the group ventures. The first shopping center to receive the attraction is the Pátio Savassi, in Belo Horizonte, which will display it from March 14 to April 10.

The exhibition has replicas of rarities like the shoe created in 800 b.C., in Syria, and the wood sandal of Tutankhamen’s treasure. For who likes fashion, the project presents the famous models developed for Hollywood productions such as Cinderella and The Wizard of Oz, or worn by Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren, Brigitte Bardot and even by Sisi, empress of Austria. "Through the exclusive, unique and irreverent footwear, produced for special occasions and people, we want to show the evolution of accessory and diversification of styles and materials used in their production", says Rejane Duarte, marketing manager of Patio Savassi.

Organized in twelve showcases, the exhibition explains the accessory’s association to good taste and human personality when exposed a lot of styles from the famous stilettos to traditional Oxford models to the practice of sport. The 92 exposed pairs are distributed into five topics: old shoes, designs, glamorous, famous and unique.

Curated and produced by MK Group SRL, and CEFOTECA (Centre of Technological Training of Shoes from Argentina), together with Argentinean designer, Florence Laccana - responsible for the selection of models – the project wants to show to visitors the essence of the shoe, since design advances to its evolution. "Multiplan is a pioneer in the segment in brings to their shopping centers free international exhibitions. We want, more each day, to bring new cultural and entertainment projects to our clients," says Rodrigo Peres, marketing manager of Multiplan.
