A pioneer in multi-use projects, Multiplan offers health and wellness options in its malls, aiming to encourage and improve the quality of life of Brazilians while also providing experiences that go far beyond shopping.
So, in honor of the National Day of Mobilization for the Promotion of Health and Quality of Life (April 6), we have separated some of the Company's health-related initiatives:
- CAPED: Located in RibeiroShopping (SP), the Advanced Center for Research, Studies and Diagnosis is the first of its kind in Brazil to be located inside a shopping mall. Its main objective is to establish an exchange with other national and international health reference institutions.
- Medical centers: - Multiplan, known for creating multi-use projects that provide practical convenience options to its clients, was a pioneer in building medical centers inside shopping malls. The projects are among the most advanced in Latin America, offering the best in healthcare with modern equipment and efficient service. Furthermore, while waiting for treatment, patients have the use of an entire shopping center as a waiting room. RibeiroShopping (SP) and BarraShopping (BR) are the Company's shopping centers with medical centers (RJ).
- MultiSer: The first Center for emotions management in the world within a shopping center, MultiSer is located in RibeiroShopping and aims to treat and prevent emotional disorders and interpersonal conflicts. It contributes to the development of emotional intelligence, resilience, empathy and entrepreneurship, offering services to anyone who needs a warm welcome and sensitive listener.
- Leisure spaces: One of the Company's concerns is to provide outdoor experiences to its clients. Following this proposal, Multiplan’s malls feature outdoor playgrounds that offer lots of fun, equipped with playful toys that stimulate creativity and social interactions. We have Parque da Magia, at ParkJacarepaguá (RJ), BarraCadabra, at BarraShoppingSul (RS), Parquinho do Anália, at ShoppingAnáliaFranco (SP) and VilaVentura, at BH Shopping (MG). At ParkShopping Canoas (RS), the Arena do Park makes available courts for beach tennis, volleyball, footvolley and skateboarding inside the mall.
- Organic gardens and markets for healthy eating: RibeiroShopping (SP) and VillageMall (RJ) both boast sustainable gardens. By repurposing food waste that is transformed into organic compost, the gardens produce a variety of greens, vegetables and fruits. In addition, seasonally, Multiplan's malls host organic fairs with products that offer the population healthier eating options.
