To verify the effect of the measures adopted against COVID-19, between the months of August and November, Multiplan carried out SWAB Surface tests to detect the new coronavirus in 190 locales with the greatest circulation of the public in all 18 of the malls managed by the Company. All came back negative for the presence of the new coronavirus. The tests were certified by ALS Global, a company present in more than 65 countries, a leader in testing, inspection and certification.
Multiplan's projects have always been safe and well-maintained environments. More than consumption and leisure centers, they are meeting points for family and friends. Due to the pandemic, the Company buttressed its efforts on behalf of the health and wellness of all.
With the guidance of contracted infectologists, Multiplan intensified safety measures, installed air purifiers and room sterilizers, expanded the points of gel alcohol available and adopted intense hygiene and asepsis routines. In addition, the Company reinforced the importance of wearing a mask, which is mandatory in all of the group's malls, and remains committed to maintaining the best practices in protocols to permit the malls to continue to be safe locations.
