Multiplan's history always has been marked by innovation and the continuous striving to introduce the best socio-environmental practices. To this end, the Company has adopted electronic signature technology at the 18 malls it manages, replacing the traditional physical signature. The headquarters adhered to this format two years ago and, this month, announced the expansion project to the all of its malls.
The current moment of requiring social isolation, with teams temporarily in the remote work model, favored the speeding up of the migration process, which had already been under study. In addition to reducing paper consumption and costs, the expansion of the use of electronic signature offers even greater security, speed and quality to Multiplan's relationships with storekeepers, suppliers and partners.
The electronic signature initially was implemented in the Company through the initiative of the Marketing, Innovation & Digital Business (MIND) area. Among other actions of Multiplan and its malls focused on sustainability are the use of clean energy - including a shopping mall (VillageMall) 100% supplied by a photovoltaic plant - the recycling of thousands of tons of organic waste transformed into fertilizers and the reuse of water through rainwater treatment and capture stations.
