BarraShopping, in Rio de Janeiro, as of July 23 is presenting Go Dream, Brazil's first national drive-in network. Produced by Dream Factory, the project features an experience park and a new form of entertainment for the public: inside their cars. In addition to movies, Go Dream will put on shows, theatrical performances, broadcasts of football games and other sports, stand-up comedias, among other attractions.
The space will operate from Thursday to Sunday. In addition to the sale of early admission via the internet and consumption within the arena only through an application, other safety measures have been put into place for the well-being of all. Distance of more than one meter between one car and another and reservation of bathrooms by a virtual queue — with an appointment via app — are some of the measures that must be followed.
The program was set up in partnership with Globo, through Globoplay, Telecine, Canal Brasil, Gloob, Globo Filmes, Multishow, Canal Off, GNT, VIVA, Premiere and Free Sound, with an offer of plurality of content, ranging from classics to recent successes, with programs for all ages.
The initiative aims to provide enjoyable and leisure activities for people, following to the letter all the safety protocols that the moment requires. Entrance is charged per vehicle, with a limit of 4 passengers from the same family per car; opting for the solidarity half entry ticket it is possible to donate R$ 5.00 to the "Music Hunger”project - a food distribution campaign for people in vulnerable situations in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The arena will be in operation between July 23 and September 13 and the schedule will be posted every 15 days on the Go Dream website.
