Expansion of an avenue resulted from an investment made by the Company
The President of Multiplan, José Isaac Peres, participated on Saturday, June 27, in the delivery of the expansion of Av. Cel. Fernando Ferreira Leite in Ribeirão Preto. Planned 20 years ago, the new project was made possible by a R$ 15 million investment made by the Company. The work was a counterparty for expansions of the RibeirãoShopping shopping center and connects the city’s West and South areas.
"The improvement is positive for the entire city, especially for residents in the West and South zones, and not only for the frequenters and shopkeepers of RibeirãoShopping," says Peres.
RibeirãoShopping, planned and built four decades ago, influenced some of the most important economic, social, cultural and urban transformations that the city and the region underwent. The eight expansions of the mall and the recent construction of a reference Medical Center, in addition to other road works and projects such as Piolin Square, the Arts Park and a Bus Terminal, show the synergy of private activity with the community and the development of the local economy.
In addition, Multiplan confirmed its belief in local progress by acquiring ShoppingSantaÚrsula in central Ribeirão in 2008. They represent new paths that were opened in this city that is also ours, at heart.
