Once again strengthening its commitment to culture and entertainment, Multiplan has assumed the responsibility for the operation of the Multiplan Theater, at VillageMall, which has been renamed and taken a new direction in the programming of its shows. The Theater represents a cultural investment in the life of the city made entirely by Multiplan and reaffirms the philosophy of the founder and CEO of the company, José Isaac Peres, of providing leisure and well-being in the areas in which it operates. Beginning in January, 2020, the theater will present an innovative schedule of shows, with unprecedented presentations to the residents of Rio.
To mark the beginning of this new phase, Multiplan Theater will present the show “Ivete Intimista”, on January 29th, featuring musical icon Ivete Sangalo, with piano and band. It will be a unique and exclusive performance, created especially to celebrate the new direction of the Theater and packed with hits from the singer's 25-year career. Tickets are available at www.sympla.com.br (subject to service charge) and at points of sale in the Shopping VillageMall (on level L1 - near the Concierge – and level L2 – near the Madero restaurant).
With capacity seating for 1,000 theater-goers, the Multiplan Theater has the infrastructure to offer different sized theatrical and musical events, as well as corporate presentations. All materials used in the construction were subject to a rigid process of selection to meet the aesthetic and acoustic standards that the venue requires, consistent with the most modern venues in the world. The theater has seating in the Orchestra, Balcony, Box Seats and First and Second Balcony.
