Multiplan malls to have Food Trucks, animal adoptions, and organic fairs in May

In May, the cultural programs for the Multiplan Group’s malls bring together various options for the whole family – musical shows, children's attractions, organic fairs and events to honor mothers, of course.

The month begins with a program that is hard to resist: on May 6 in Sao Paulo, at ShoppingVilaOlímpia, there will be an "Adoption Event" in partnership with the Luisa Mell Institute. Visitors will be able to adopt a pet after going through an interview with those responsible for the organization and receive instructions on care, feeding and other procedures. All of the animals will be properly neutered, vaccinated, de-loused. Admission is free, and of course TV hostess Luisa Mell will be on hand.

In Rio de Janeiro, the VillageMall has organized – also on May 6 - the Organic Circuit with local farmers and producers of fruits and vegetables, as well as handcrafted items. Also between May 26 and 28, the VillageMall will promote another round of Degusta Burguer, an event that brings together several food trucks specializing in hamburgers.

At BarraShopping in Rio de Janeiro, children's programming is packed with free activities. All month long, on Sundays, there will be children’s classes and workshops in drawing, painting and crafts and a different pageant every week. On May 7, André the Magician offers a performance; on May 14, the play "Mother Nature" will be presented; on May 21 it will be time for the "the Ant and the Grasshopper" and to close the month on May 28, the show "Zorro" will be performed. The NewYorkCityCenter, as part of the MPB in Mall project, has scheduled the following artists: Fernanda Santanna on May 9; Luka on May 16; Nando Motta, on May 23, and Playmobille presenting a special show on May 30.

In the first week of May, ShoppingVilaOlímpia in São Paulo, is promoting, from May 6 to 13, the Barilla Food Truck. The event will feature the "Esperienza Barilla" where chefs will offer tastings, tips and recipes.

JundiaíShopping, in Jundiaí, has organized the show " Sempre Mãe," which will have 51 photographs signed by Flávia Fontes. The lens of the photographer has captured those spontaneous moments that reflect the bond between mother and child. Flávia Fontes has specialized in capturing the images of expectant mothers, babies and families.

To end the month, RibeirãoShopping, in Ribeirão Preto, has organized an exhibit of seven Russian dolls, symbolizing motherhood and fertility lasting until May 28. The show also features an area with dolls for photographs and a lounge for children with drawings to color. In the Patio Savassi in Belo Horizonte, the exhibit "Love & Emotion," a tribute to all mothers, will be open until May 29. The event brings together works from several artists and designers from the Urban Arts Savassi collective.

The Cultural Book Fair Livro da Letrinha, which is scheduled for ShoppingAnáliaFranco, in São Paulo, will last until June 10. The event will have more than 2,000 children's books and on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, it will feature activities such as a Puppet Theatre, storytelling, pocket shows for infant children and magic tricks.
