Multiplan, manager and controller of RibeirãoShopping, launched the second stage of the RibeirãoShopping Medical Center on November 9, part of the 9th expansion of the project. The new complex offers for lease over 2,000 m2 of GLA, designed to attract another 13 medical specialties. An auditorium with capacity for 150 people also was built on the site. The schedule calls for the inauguration of the project in the first quarter of 2017.
The first stage, virtually all leased, was launched in June this year and attracted 18 leading clinics and a day hospital with 4,177 square meters of GLA.
To complement and strengthen the medical specialties that will be part of the project, Multiplan already is in talks with clinics in various fields of medicine, such as oncology, hematology, pulmonology, geriatrics, infectious diseases, rheumatology and Allergies, among others. Also included in this second stage is an exclusive area for health plans, with about 40 m2, divided into five spaces.
The Medical Center provides patients with comfort, speed and convenience, combining medical care with exams and even emergency admissions. The complex will be fully integrated into the shopping mall, through escalators, elevators and glass structures. Clients will also be benefited by extended operating hours, parking valet service and high-standard clinics.
It is worth remembering that the modern design of the Medical Center, developed by RAF, was one of the winners of the XIII Corporate Architecture Grand Prize, one of the leading awards in Latin America, in the category "Health - Health Buildings."
